WHAT ARE THE OW DIVER’s PREROGATIVES?

PADI / SSI open water diver certification allows you to dive to depths down to 18m with a dive partner of equivalent or superior level and down to 20m with a dive leader or dive master.

WHAT IS THE CONTENT OF THE PADI / SSI OPEN WATER DIVER?

The PADI / SSI open water diver teaches all the necessary keys to be mastered in order to quickly acquire long term scuba diving skills. You’ll learn to gear up, dive in twos, plan your dive and anticipate/solve potential problems. Under your instructor’s supervision, you learn how to check your dive partner’s gear in 5 steps, to observe and then practice the removal and repositioning of your regulator, empty your mask, and manage your buoyancy thanks to your buoyancy compensator. As you learn along, you will progressively dive down to 10, then 15m. By the end of your course, gearing up, back rolls and giant-strides or helping a teammate who’s run out of air will all have become natural behaviours.

Scuba diving theoretical training
